What's The Alternative? — A Question To Combat Inaction

What's the alternative? That's a question I often ask myself in life and with my art. The reason I ask this is because even though the way in which I move forward is not the ideal way, "what's the alternative?" Often times, it's inaction. And this question has been top of mind in the past several days because I've been fostering a dog named Diamond (https://youtube.com/shorts/oKlKnf6tNZU). Meeting with some trainers, they make you feel so guilty for not giving a dog everything that may be needed. But the alternative in that case is either they're at the shelter or put down. I go through this instance as a way to really get at the core of what the question I pose is really about and how it applies to less dire facets of life.
