Debuting in 2003 as a spin-off of the other popular dating show The Bachelor, The Bachelorette remains a popular show on ABC, with 19 seasons and 200+ episodes. Many of us watch it and while we can see that what they are doing isn’t how normal people date, we still can’t turn away from the drama that is portrayed. Like driving past a car accident, it’s bad to watch but we still do. Why do we watch and what is wrong with how these men and women go about dating on the show?
