On June 12, 2009, the federal government discontinued analog broadcasting, and TV stations across the country began broadcasting solely in digital format. After decades of phone phreaking, hijacking a TV signal was the next evolution for many young hacker. However, with the birth of HDTV, the days of penetration testing you favorite TV satellite to broadcast your own message, or in most cases, porn, were fading quickly. Today, Caleb & the Colonel delve into a few of their favorite tales of TV signaljacking, from personal protests to a fake Czech nuclear attack. We also couldn't leave out the most famous case and a cyberpunk cornerstone, the Max Headroom Incident.
