What's Your Conclusion? 08-Jul-2024.

from Emmanuel Afiawari's Inspiration podcast · host Emmanuel Afiawari

Solomon's remark, "Let's hear the conclusion of the whole matter" (Eccl. 12: 13) is pivotal to my meditations today. When things happen around you contrary to expectations, what do you make of them? Does your conclusion show you've knowledge of what's happening? Is it a response of faith, fear or despair? Does it imply you understand God's word or you totally do not have a clue? Sarah couldn't conceive to bear a child in normal time, but she judged God faithful through her ordeal. Can you trust God through your wilderness and unproductive season? ‭The Passion Translation says, "Sarah’s faith embraced God’s miracle power to conceive even though she was barren and was past the age of childbearing, for the authority of her faith rested in the One who made the promise, and she tapped into his faithfulness." How often do we embrace God's miracle power in situations beyond our control? Where does your faith rest when the storms of life rage against you? Do you still consider God, the Promise keeper, to be reliable and trustworthy and true to His word?
