Nynaeve realizes she can not travel to the Amyrlin's study in the Dream. She can't find it, because it no longer looks anything like what she remembers. There is a new Amyrlin Seat now. When Egwene arrives she tries to reinforce the dangers of Tel'aran'rhiod once more by summoning a nightmare, likely because Egwene doesn't want anyone to know that she herself has been forbidden from entering the dream alone. The relationship between the two women is rapidly changing. The two go about searching for information in Elaida's study, and manage to learn more about the violent and political split in the Tower.
