Rand has sprinted all the way back to The Queens Blessing, which is still being watched by white cockaded street toughs. We talk about how domestic animals react to, and seem to be able to sense when the One Power is channeled, or maybe just the channelers themselves. Rand relays his story, Master Gil is in disbelief, but Loial has already come to a conclusion. Ta'veren make for good books after all... The Whitecloaks show up at the inn looking for Perrin and Egwene, but back away from the confrontation they've asked for. Moiraine and Lan arrive, with the Emond's Fielders in toe, and we see a cheerful reunion, although Mat is bed ridden, sick with the evil of Shadar Logoth. We talk more about how Darkfriends and Shadowspawn can sense the dagger.
