In the wake of the early Seanchan invasion, Geofram Bornhald is in Almoth Plain under the orders of Pedron Niall, stirring up chaos. The Questioners are doing their best work to help, and Bornhald does not approve of their methods. We talk about the Seanchan navy, their encounters with the SeaFolk, and how that likely went down. Bayle Domon is stopped by a Seanchan ship and redirected to Falme for his ship's hold to be examined. We see our first example of a Damane in action. We also see the Seanchan's creatures, their military, and a member of the Blood.
