When (and why) illness visits our human revolution, with Marigol Era

from Bloom with a Boom! Grounded by daily practice. · host Rebecca Schlosser

A revolutionary spirit is not just about being a rebel - it’s a brave and very personal voyage where we call upon our inner guidance system to help us thrive physically, mentally and spiritually in a world that’s rapidly transforming.  In this episode we’re talking with Marigol Era, an Ayurvedic wellness coach, eternal learner, unschooling mother and host of the podcast “Let’s Create the Revolution Together.” We explore how building a quickly successful podcast about human evolution swept Marigol into a storm of burnout, anxiety and health issues, signaling her to embrace her own wisdom and wellness tools to not only heal physically, but also develop a more positive and aligned inner dialogue.   She comes out on the other side of illness  with an elevated awareness, which further cultivates her voice and leads to the growing of her coaching business, helping holistic entrepreneurs bring their magic into the world.  In Marigol’s own words, “I’m in constant evolution.”  Key takeaways:  Authentic learning has no rules! It doesn’t rely on degrees, credentials or even memorized facts. Learning for the sake of learning is a way of life that continuously strengthens our intuition and inner voice.  The body always reacts to stress which can build when we push ourselves too hard at anything, even creating a business for healing and authenticity.  This is due to the overstimulation of the brain and nervous system, and often our harsh inner dialogue - perfectionism, self criticism, etc.  The deeper and more significant our work or projects, the more stuff comes up - our shadows, limiting self beliefs, all the things we’ve been previously stuffing down come  bubbling to the surface in the form of stress or physical imbalance, for the purpose of healing and transformation.  Seek help outside, but never discount our own tools or inner wisdom. Ayurvedic recipes and wellness practices, as well as meditation, played a key factor in Marigol’s healing.    To reach Marigol:  FB - https://www.facebook.com/MarigolEra Podcast - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/lets-create-the-revolution-together/id1702333676 To reach Rebecca: Here are my social media links, including some of my writing on Substack. https://www.instagram.com/healingvoyager/ https://www.facebook.com/rebecca.schlosser.5 Private FB group:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/859832058689723 https://substack.com/@rebeccaschlosser?utm_source=profile-page   Don’t forget to subscribe to the podcast by clicking the follow button on Apple, Spotify or Google Podcasts - so you don’t miss any episodes!  If something mystifies you, send me a question on social media.  And if something touches you, please leave a review and recommend the show to someone who needs to hear it!
