When Colorism HITS THE FAN!

Brittany brings three friends along to share their experiences about colorism and the long term generational effects from it. Shontay goes deep About growing up dark skinned with a strong mother. She explains the terms and nick names people have given her such as "pretty black''. Chatrice explains what it is like being the only light skinned person in her household and what the future holds for her black disabled son. Prenisa encourages the audience to make everything a teachable moment. With her three girls having three different skin tones and three different textures of hair she has to teach them that beauty is within and not about appearances.
