Yes, we have a set of codes that AMA CPT has allowed for use in “consultations”. But hold it! They are not the same kinds of “consultations” we refer to in our profession, such as the initial consultation for a new patient, or that often “free” consultation or, as we like to call it, Pre-Acceptance Interview” for potential new patients.
