Lauren Pompey is a General Officer Coordinator in Washington, D.C. for high-ranking Officers in the U.S. Military. She served as a fellow with The Business Council for International Understanding. Lauren’s efforts contributed to the convening and peaceful dialogue of international delegations and private sector leaders. Pompey is an active contributing member of the New York Chapter of the Organization for Women in International Trade. (OWIT) Her expansion into the field of International Relations began when she earned a Masters from Dublin City University, in the Republic of Ireland. There she led campaigns in partnership with the University of Sanctuary to uplift asylum seekers and refugees through educational opportunities. Lauren is deeply rooted in her professional training as a dancer. Pompey performed in modern pieces at Lincoln Center & continued on to earning a BFA Mason Gross School of the Arts. She then choreographed new works, toured professionally & taught fundamentals of classical ballet within public schools, through the American Repertory Ballet.
