When Desire Turned Into Evidence

When Desire Turned Into Evidence is a first-person workplace thriller about intimacy, power, and how quickly private choices become public records. Told from the perspective of a Black professional woman inside a high-pressure corporate environment, the story follows a relationship that felt mutual in the moment—but was later reinterpreted through screenshots, timelines, and institutional self-protection. As an investigation unfolds, nuance disappears, context collapses, and desire is stripped down to data. What remains is not justice or closure, but residue: career damage, self-surveillance, and the permanent awareness that texts don’t forget—even when intentions do.
