And I could not put it down.In the fall of 2008 Pat and Tammy’s son Zach collapsed on a high school football field; and sustained a severe brain injury. And they were faced with the devastating reality that things would never be the same for their beloved son. I really wanted to have them on the show because each one of us has experienced grief and losses in our lives and yet I’ve found that we often don’t know how to deal with our grief, pain, and losses - it can be a complex and lonely journey - one that we want to avoid at all costs. In this interview, you will hear Tammy and Pat’s journey of how they have walked and continue to walk through ambiguous loss.  I was so drawn to both of them - their faith and honesty.
