When Everything Feels Too Much: Gentle Nervous System Reset for Overwhelm & Anxiety meditation Music Version

from SLEEP MEDITATION with Lauren Ostrowski Fenton

Hello lovely, It's quite cold here tonight. We've had more kittens again – there are a lot of feral cats on the property at the moment, which is something we're slowly working through with care. Between the cold air, the tiny paws, and the kettle boiling, I've been thinking about you and wanted to reach out. I've just uploaded a new sleep meditation*on the podcast "Sleep Meditation with Lauren Ostrowski Fenton" – a gentle practice to help you soften, feel supported, and slowly settle your nervous system when everything feels a little too much. 🕊️ New: Voice-only version on Patreon For those of you who prefer just my voice, with no added sounds, there is a voice-only version available on Patreon. It's free for all patrons (including free members), so you're warmly invited to listen there as well. - -- A little life update I'm loving my new job as a Positve Behaviour Practitioner and my Master's in Disability (Developmental Education) Flinders University – it feels meaningful to weave this learning back into the meditations and resources I share with you. My son is staying with me at the moment with his amazing girlfriend, which brings such a sense of warmth and joy into the house. Amongst the busyness, the cold nights, and the chaos of kittens, I find myself thinking of this community often – of you, wherever you are, doing your best with what you've been given. - -- Live on Patreon – "Finding Joy in the Chaos of Life" In response to your questions and messages, I'll be running a live session on Patreon this Saturday morning(Adelaide time - Australian Central Standard Time): Finding Joy in the Chaos of Life: Resetting Your Nervous System - You'll be notified a few hours before the live on Patreon  https://www.patreon.com/cw/laurenostrowskifentonhttps://www.patreon.com/cw/laurenostrowskifenton - It will be low-key and informal – more like sitting together in a lounge room than a formal event - We'll explore: - Gentle ways to reset your nervous system - A simple meditation together - Creating a personal toolbox to help you find tiny moments of joy in the middle of adversity - a handout and of course home work You are so welcome to come exactly as you are – tired, hopeful, overwhelmed, curious, or all of the above. --- Thank you for being here Here is a picture of one of our cats, who has somehow managed to stay on her back with adorable loyalty to comfort and chaos all at once. She makes me smile, and I hope she makes you smile too. Thank you so much for listening to my content, for supporting me on Patreon, and for donating to this YouTube channel and the wider work. Your support makes it possible for me to continue creating these meditations, and it means that those who cannot afford it can still listen for free.  This community exists because of you. From my chilly, kitten-filled corner of the world to wherever you are: thank you With warmth, Lauren 🌿
