When Everything Feels Up to You
from A conversation on... Hosted by Corner Church
What happens when faith becomes one more thing you feel responsible to manage? In this conversation, we explore the exhausting belief that everything is up to us: other people's choices, the outcome of every situation, whether we can hold the future together, and whether we can make ourselves change. Paul's words in 1 Corinthians 2 offer another way. Faith does not rest on impressive leaders, perfect language, or human effort. It rests on the power of God. Through the fruit of the Spirit, our identity as God's children, and the mind of Christ, this episode looks at how the Spirit changes what grows in us, what carries us, and what we can see. The invitation is not to transform ourselves. It is to stay close to the One who is transforming us. Scripture discussed: 1 Corinthians 2:1–16; Galatians 5:19–25; John 15:1–4; Romans 8:11–17; 2 Corinthians 3:17–18. Learn more about Corner Church: https://www.corner.church
