When Faith Disappoints

In this heartfelt episode, we’re joined once again by the beloved Rev. Angela Tate—affectionately known as AP—Associate Pastor of West Side MBC and a licensed professional counselor in Missouri. Back by popular demand, AP brings her unique blend of pastoral wisdom and therapeutic insight to help us navigate a profound and challenging topic: When Faith Disappoints. What happens when God feels silent, prayers seem unanswered, or life’s struggles make us question our faith? Together, we explore the feelings of disappointment that arise when the gap between our expectations of Christianity and our experiences creates “pain points” in our faith journey. Rev. Angie sheds light on the common struggles believers face, offers tools to process doubt and confusion, and answers the tough question: Should we, as Christians, ever question God? This episode offers an honest and compassionate look at wrestling with faith during life’s toughest moments. Don’t miss this powerful conversation filled with hope, healing, and encouragement for anyone feeling spiritually stuck or searching for answers. P.S.
