When Following God Leads Uphill (John 18:1-11)

from Lakeview Missionary Church Sermons · host Lakeview Missionary Church

As Christians, we quickly learn that our plans don't always match up with God's plans. A lot of the time, they are very, very different. The night before Jesus died on the cross, God's plan was going underway through two people: Jesus and Judas. Everything had to be precise in order to fulfill God's plan. Why did Judas have to be so careful in arresting Jesus? Why did three different groups come to arrest Jesus? In this sermon, Pastor Christopher talks about God's purpose and how the Lord is in control of our salvation, even if His plan confuses us. He also breaks down Peter's courage in defending Jesus, and why Jesus rebuked him.   Thanks for listening! LAKEVIEW MISSIONARY CHURCH, 810 S.
