When God Doesn’t Answer the Way You Expected
from Eric Thompson Show Hosted by Eric Thompson
You prayed. You waited. You believed God would answer. And then life went in a completely different direction. What do you do when God doesn’t answer your prayers the way you expected? When the relationship isn’t restored, the opportunity disappears, the diagnosis doesn’t change, the financial situation gets worse—or the answer you desperately wanted seems to be no? In this episode of The Eric Thompson Show, Eric Thompson explores one of the most difficult parts of the Christian life: trusting God when His plans don’t look anything like ours. We’ll look at what Scripture teaches about unanswered prayer, disappointment, suffering, God’s sovereignty, and why faith isn't a promise that God will give us everything we ask for. Sometimes faith means celebrating when God opens the door. Other times, it means trusting Him when the door stays closed. If you've ever wondered “God, why didn't You answer me?”, this conversation is for you. Live Curious. Stay Informed. Finish Well.
