When God Sends in His Angels (Luke 2)

Have you ever wondered how God’s angels work in the world today? In this encouraging and eye-opening message, Pastor Chris Teien explores what the Bible teaches about angels—how they guide, protect, and even carry God’s people home to heaven. From the angelic announcement of Jesus’ birth to stories of miraculous rescues and God’s unseen hand, this message reminds us that while angels serve as God’s messengers, our ultimate hope is in God’s sovereignty and care.Link: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2285086/episodes/14086794Main Points: #1 God sends His angels to guide us (Luke 2:9–12; Matthew 2:13–14,19–21) #2 God’s innumerable angels bring Him glory (Luke 2:13–14; Daniel 7:9–10; Ephesians 6:12) #3 God uses angels to rescue us (Psalm 91:1–4; 2 Timothy 3:1–5; 1 Kings 19:1–7) #4 God sends angels to punish the wicked (Psalm 91:5–8; Hebrews 13:1–2,4; Genesis 19:10–13) #5 God sends angels to protect us (Psalm 91:11–13; Acts 12:7; Daniel 6:22) #6 God sends angels to carry us home (Psalm 91:14–16; Hebrews 1:14; Luke 16:22)Key Takeaways:Angels are real and active in God’s plan, but our faith is in God’s presence and promises, not in angelic intervention.God’s care is often unseen but always present.Trusting God means living with confidence, knowing we are never alone.Reflection Questions:Have you experienced God’s protection or guidance in unexpected ways? How can you live with greater awareness of God’s presence in your life?Connect: For more messages and resources, visit Rockwell Church or ChrisTeien.com.22m1218de Helping you apply God's Word and follow Jesus in everyday life.
