When God Won't Stop Calling | Curate Scott Madison

from Resurrection South Austin Hosted by Resurrection South Austin

Scott Madison on July 27th Curate Scott reflects on Luke 11, where Jesus teaches the disciples the Lord's Prayer, and shares his personal journey of running from God's call to ordained ministry. Drawing from C.S. Lewis's insight that "prayer does not change God, but rather, it changes us," Scott reminds us that we are all filled with the Holy Spirit and called to purpose - even when we don't feel worthy or can't yet see what that calling is. A powerful message about community, discernment, and trusting that God's path will unfold when we stop running.
