When Growth Requires Change

Acts 6:1–7 highlights a growing challenge in the early church: as the number of believers increased, so did tensions, specifically over the fair distribution of food to widows. The apostles responded by appointing seven trusted, Spirit-filled leaders to oversee this need, allowing them to stay focused on prayer and teaching the Word. This moment shows the importance of wise leadership, shared responsibility, and caring for others well. As a result, unity was restored, needs were met, and the church continued to grow.
