When I Am Weak, Then I Am Strong | 2 Corinthians 12

What if your greatest weakness could become the place where you experience God’s power the most? In 2 Corinthians 12, the apostle Paul describes a painful “thorn in the flesh.” He prayed repeatedly for God to remove it, but instead God gave him a powerful promise: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” In today’s Daily Hope, Pastor John S. Dickerson shares how this promise became real in his own life during a frightening season of severe neurological migraines that temporarily took away his ability to speak and think clearly. Through that weakness, God revealed a deeper truth—His power often enters our lives through the very places where we feel weakest. Paul eventually wrote, “When I am weak, then I am strong.” This message reminds us that weakness doesn’t disqualify us from God’s work.
