When I knew

When I knew you were not looking I kept on admiring you But when you were awakening that admiration grew A fragrance in your smile a morning bathed in dew Chilly frosty air enchanted mountain view The six wheels rumbled on to the departure of dawn The noon carried on another evening gone Then flight on metal wings a scent of foreign things A neatly mown green lawn a newer being born Dream to live and feel a heavy laundry bill Look from the window sill rapturous alluring thrill Those waves do seem so near I thought they just splashed here But that was just my dear my eye shedding a tear -Roque Lazarus 2004 SKA-REGGAE produced and performed by Roque Lazarus
