When I made this video, I was not aware of the drama surrounding this and the other performances, I am now. It’s interesting how I noticed some of them but I didn’t want to be disrespectful, so I twisted them into positives. I could just not post this, but I do think it’s interesting how I caught on without knowing the whole story. To the deaf community. I am so sorry that this was the representation you were given, yeah, there are bad performers from the hearing side sometimes but it happens way more frequently for you. And I don’t think any performer on the hearing side would’ve gotten away with what Shaheem said in the interview.
