We can experience Christ’s hope and peace when we enjoy the freedom that only He grants.On some topics and issues, Christians may disagree, yet maintain their fellowship with one another. Ultimately, we are not accountable to one another but to God.Paul declares that the kingdom of God is not a matter of indifferent externals. In these things, we are to have love for each other, respecting the scruples of the individual as well as his or her liberties. Patience and an understanding spirit are called for. In matters of externals, the internal fruit of the Holy Spirit must be made manifest.How are we to respond to others whose values are different from our own?
