Simply having the conversation makes people feel like it encourages violence but not having the conversation may be more dangerous than having it. We care about having the conversation in a way that promotes healthy understanding and healthy decision making. In no way is this intended to encourage violence as the solution to your circumstance. Violence is a last resort and must be used with caution and respect because it has lasting effects even when it is reasonable.
