When Joy is Our Song

Have you ever experienced the power of music? From the earliest stories of our faith, God has used music to bring healing and hope to the people. Through David, God gave us many songs that we call Psalms. Songs of praise have been lifted up to God in thanksgiving. Still today, music has the power to develop the minds of little babies, and trigger the minds of those with diseases like Alzheimers. Music touches our emotions in ways that nothing else can. Music speaks in good times, and in bad times. The Grinch expected to hear songs of lamentation coming from Whoville after he stole all their things. Instead, he heard a joyous chorus. Through song, the Grinch learned that Christmas isn't about physical things.
