When Knuckles Rode In | S 3 E 4

A stranger rides into the ranch with a guitar on his back and a grin that says he’s got stories he ain’t told yet. His name’s Knuckles, and before long he’s singin’ one of his dandy, original tunes right there in the Den — the kind of song that makes a cowboy wish he’d taken up the guitar a little earlier in life. Will, who’s always harbored a quiet dream of bein’ a singin’ cowboy himself, starts askin’ the sort of probing questions only he can get away with. How does a man come to be named Knuckles anyway? Ranch fight? Barn door? Bad handshake? The truth’s somewhere between a chuckle and a campfire. This month’s visit to the Den is also brought to you by yet another improbable product — very improbable, especially in 2024 — because some traditions are worth keepin’ strange.
