When Life Is Too Hard
from Quiet In The Night · host Bill Scott
When Life Is Too Hard Sometimes life feels so heavy that it's hard to even take the next breath. The weight of loss, fear, and unanswered prayers can make our hearts feel like they're breaking. But even in the darkest moments, God is close. The Bible promises us, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18, NIV). When life is too hard, you don't have to pretend to be strong. God invites you to come as you are — worn out, tear-stained, and fragile. He holds you when you can't hold yourself together. His strength will carry you. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28, NIV). Notice — He doesn't say you have to fix yourself first. He simply says, Come. Today, if all you can do is whisper, "Help me, Lord," know that it's enough. He hears you. He loves you. And He is fighting for you, even when you can't see it. You are not walking this road alone. God's love will never let you go.
