When Love is Hard - Audio

God commands us to love others. If we are honest, this is not easy to do, especially when people we are to love are hard to love. Have you been there? So what to do? When love is hard, our love depends on God: 1. To have compassion for others. (v. 27a) If you are struggling, try first to “Hold Space” for them. 2. To forgive others knowing we are forgiven. (v. 27b) 3. To love others because God first loved us. (v. 33) 19 We love because he first loved us. 20 If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. 21 And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother. (1 John 4:19-21)
