When Love Meets Resistance: Continuing the Work Anyway

from Love In Action Podcast · host Dr. Flow

A reflection on faith, digital suppression, and the unwavering commitment to healing, liberation, and communityThis afternoon, I found myself in a moment that has become both sacred and practical in my daily rhythm. I was on TikTok, preparing my lunch, while simultaneously holding space for others. Praying with people. Lighting candles of petition. Listening. Grounding. Supporting. This is the work. There is something deeply human about tending to your own needs while tending to the needs of others. It is not polished. It is not staged. It is real-time care, offered in real-time life. And for many who joined that space today, it was exactly what they needed. A moment of calm. A moment of being seen. A moment of connection in a world that often feels fragmented. And yet, in the midst of that offering, something else emerged.Restrictions.Multiple regions where the content was silenced. Flags placed on the broadcast. Accusations made that were not only inaccurate, but entirely disconnected from the intention and integrity of the work being done.Let us be clear. When messages rooted in healing, self-worth, emotional recovery, and collective care begin to encounter resistance, it is not random. It is not incidental. It is indicative of a larger tension between systems that thrive on disconnection and individuals who are committed to restoring wholeness.I am not interested in dramatics. I am interested in truth. And the truth is this: there are moments when platforms will not fully support the kind of work that prioritizes emotional liberation, spiritual grounding, and community healing. There are moments when visibility is interrupted, when access is limited, and when narratives are distorted. But that does not change the assignment. If anything, it clarifies it.Now is not the time to retreat. Now is the time to become more intentional about where and how we gather. It is the time to build spaces that are not dependent on algorithms to reach the people who are ready for transformation. It is the time to move from passive consumption into active participation. For those who have been watching from a distance, this is your invitation to step closer. If you are committed to liberation. If you are serious about doing the work to free yourself from cycles of fear, anxiety, depression, and emotional stagnation. If you understand that healing is not a trend but a discipline. Then it is time to connect in a more direct way.Join the email list. Not as a passive subscriber, but as an active participant in a growing ecosystem of people who are choosing to live differently. People who are learning how to care for themselves with intention. People who are no longer willing to abandon their own well-being in a system that benefits from their disconnection. You can also stay closely connected by joining the Instagram broadcast channels, where consistent updates, encouragement, and opportunities are shared in real time. Follow along on Substack, where deeper reflections and potential live sessions will continue to expand this work. Subscribe to the YouTube channel for ongoing teachings, conversations, and extended guidance across this journey. And for those who are ready for a more committed and immersive experience, you are invited to step into the private membership. This is where the work deepens. This is where behind-the-scenes conversations, private lives, and more intentional support take place. To receive details, simply send an email or a direct message, and you will be guided into the next steps.Love In Action Network is not built on convenience. It is built on commitment. We are not here to perform healing. We are here to practice it.We are not here to offer temporary relief. We are here to cultivate lasting transformation. And we are not stopping. To those who continue to show up, to support, to share, to engage, and to grow alongside this work, understand that your presence matters. You are part of something that is actively pushing against narratives that keep people small, isolated, and afraid. There is no illusion about the challenges ahead. But there is also no hesitation. We will continue to pray.We will continue to teach. We will continue to build spaces where people can return to themselves. And we will continue to choose love, even when it is inconvenient, even when it is misunderstood, and even when it is met with resistance.Because that is what this work requires.Dr. Flowhttps://lovedandlovable.org https://askdrflow.com/ Get full access to Love In Action Network Newsletter / Podcast at loveinactionnet.substack.com/subscribe
