When Obedience Doesn't Bring Blessing

If you've grown up in the church, you've probably heard the phrase "obedience brings blessing." We often internalize this to mean if you serve the Lord and obey Him, then your prayers will be answered, and essentially, you'll "get what your heart desires." This week, we're chatting with Ali Gray, creative entrepreneur, writer, mother, and worship leader, about what happens when we don't get the answered prayers we want.    Featured in Truly's intentionality issue, Ali shares her intentional experiences with God as she has navigated a challenging season in her life and her realization of equating her circumstances to God's goodness.
