When One Problem Becomes the Only Thing You Can See

Have you ever noticed how quickly one difficult thing can become the biggest thing in the room?A meeting. A bill. A hard conversation. Something happening in your family. A decision you have to make.It may be completely real. But when fear takes over, that one thing can begin to feel like the only thing that's true.In Numbers 13–14, twelve men saw the same land, the same fortified cities, the same opposition - and the same giants. Joshua and Caleb didn't pretend those things weren't there.They just didn't leave God out of what they were seeing.Today we're talking about the difference between acknowledging what's in front of us and allowing it to become bigger in our minds than everything we already know about God.Because the problem may be real.But that's not all that's true.And there's an incredible detail in this story: while Israel was talking about why they couldn't trust God with what came next, they were carrying evidence that He had already told them the truth about the land - a cluster of grapes so large it took two men to carry it.Sometimes fear makes us stare so hard at what's ahead that we forget what we're already carrying.What has God already brought you through?
