When Other Planes Press In
from The Lich's Tale: A Faerûn Lorecast Hosted by The Lich's Tale
Other planes reach Faerûn through more than portals and invading armies. They enter through a bargain, a useful object, an old crossing, a dangerous experiment—and an offer that sounds like relief. Erilian follows Zariel's fall and Elturel's betrayal, Gargauth's whispered counsel, Farideh and Havilar's family, and Gromph Baenre's disastrous summoning. The journey continues through the Feywild, the Shadowfell and the Far Realm, asking where ordinary people can still recognize danger and act. This episode includes spoilers for the premises of *Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus*, *Out of the Abyss*, *The Wild Beyond the Witchlight*, *Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk*, and early *Brimstone Angels* novels.
