When others are doing better

Delighting in God is helpful specifically to people who were tempted to fret, worry, or envy the apparent success of the ungodly. Envy happens when we take our eyes off our Shepherd and start comparing our pasture to someone else's field. Delighting in God is the ultimate cure for spiritual envy. When you are fully satisfied in the presence of the King, you stop fretting over other people’s shortcuts. You realize that what God has prepared for you in His timing is infinitely superior to anything the world can offer in a hurry.Psalm 37:1–3"Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity...
