When Our Family Friend Dies
from The Resilient Living Podcast · host Terrilyn Minnifield
Send us Fan MailWhen someone dies, it affects all of us who know the person. Sometimes we are affected even if we do not know the person. I grew up with The Cosby Show as a staple in our Thursday night routine. I was touched and moved by the death of actor Malcolm Jamal Warner. I did not know Malcolm, nor did he know me. I was touched because of the admiration and talent that he had that made me believe that he could be a friend, cousin, or relative. This death was sad. Sad because of the potential of all that was left for him to do. In this episode, I take a look at the effect that death has on us and the realization of the time we think that we have to live out our purpose. I enjoyed Malcolm's acting, his interviews about his family, and his love of life. His legacy will be as a family friend. What mark are you making in this life that cannot be erased? Thanks, Malcolm, for the reminder...
