In this message, Bro. Alan teaches from the life of Abram from the first story of his life the Bible records in Genesis 12. After being called out of Sumeria and into Canaan, God promised the 75-year old Abram that He would make of him a mighty nation, would make Abram's name great, and he would be a blessing to all. But God's promise did not stop there. The Lord also promised Abram that to his heirs would be given all the lands where he had been led by God. But as a famine began to affect Sumeria and Canaan, rather than turn to the Lord for guidance or even remain in Canaan and trust the Lord to fulfill His promise, Abram came up with an idea. Abram's idea involved traveling to Egypt and having Sarai agree to lie about their relationship to save Abram's life. (This message is from March 19th, 2023)
