When Prayers Are Not Answered

Earnest prayers do not always bring the answer people desperately want. Acts 12 places James’s execution beside Peter’s miraculous escape; God was in control of both outcomes. This does not make prayer passive or pointless. God invites His children to ask for mercy and deliverance and works through their prayers, while keeping the outcome in His wise hands.
