When Self Rules the Church: The Tragedy of Diotrephes
from More About Jesus - Bob Shelton · host Dr. Bob Shelton
Dr. Bob Shelton highlights Diotrephes, a church leader who sought personal preeminence, contrasting him with Christ's supreme humility. Warning against pride—a sin God hates—Dr. Shelton urges believers to humble themselves, follow Christ's example, and let Jesus hold preeminence in their lives. Humility, not self-exaltation, honors God.
