When Sh&t Hits The Fan: How to Manage Business During a Heavy Week

Ready for a heavy heart-to-heart this Friday? In the interest of being completely open and vulnerable with you (aka the point of these episodes) I'll start off by admitting that the past week was straight up not a good time for me. It got me thinking about how to keep going (or maybe not) with your business when you're in it.  You know it right? Nothing goes right, everything feels hard, and lest we forget there seems to be almost daily reminders that the world at large is on fire. It can feel so overwhelming and so disorienting that sometimes the answer is to stop. Take a break. That's why on this episode I go more into: The week from hell I've had and how it affected my work How to prioritize yourself and not feel bad about it I think a lot of us who have our own businesses reached a point of success because we are determined and focused. This is great most of the time, but it can also mean that we have a hard time realizing we don't just need to keep going to get through it. Sometimes we really do have to tread lightly and rest without feeling guilty or lazy about it. Let's talk about how I know I've reached that point, and what I do about it.
