When SNRIs Beat SSRIs: Pain, Energy & ADHD

Venlafaxine earned the SNRI class its brutal reputation — a five-hour half-life and the worst discontinuation symptoms of any antidepressant studied. But not all SNRIs are venlafaxine. Duloxetine, milnacipran, and levomilnacipran have different pharmacokinetics and clinical profiles.
