Riverview (the church where I serve as one of the pastors) has its roots at Michigan State University. Because of this, we get a steady stream of college students, including student athletes. This vantage point has given me the opportunity to watch first-hand as many of these young people ride the ups and downs of living in the sudden spotlight as Christians. In this episode, I sit down with Brian Lewerke, the quarterback for MSU's football team. We talk about football, how he handles the inevitable criticism of someone in his position, and living out a public faith when social media turns on you.
