There is so much to unpack. The storming of the Capitol in DC and state capitol's should not have surprised you. They openly planned these events. They openly plan because they know that they will be shielded and the laws only apply to the others. We need to be very careful about what we advocate for because the new 'domestic terrorism' laws will be wielded much heavier on marginalized groups.
