She taught herself to play piano and guitar. She had a strong left brain and need to fit in, so she followed her head more than her heart, marrying young and giving birth to 5 children. Her 3rd child passed one day after her birth, which compelled Kathleen to return to school to. complete nursing training, eventually working in a birthing centre. After some minor in vocal performance, at university she discovering Healing Touch, which she brought that into her nursing practice. Kathleen then went on to become a family nurse practitioner.
