Four years ago, it didn't look like Bell was going to make it. But  today, thanks to the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, the support and comfort from his former high school principal as well as dozens of Bloodworks Northwest blood donors he'll never know, Mack is able to tell his story of survival. And as we discover on this edition of "Bloodworks 101," Mack Bell had to come face-to-face with something we're all adjusting to - more than a year of social distancing. Part of Mack's story is the fact that as an African-American, the deck literally is stacked against him in his effort to find a suitable match as he fought Aplastic Anemia.
