Sometimes You Can’t Speak—So Write: Why God’s Message Must Keep GoingThere was something placed heavily on my heart this morning about the importance of communication, especially when it comes to the Word of God. We often put tremendous emphasis on the person standing in front of a congregation, holding a microphone, preaching a sermon, teaching a lesson, or verbally telling people what God has done. Paul's ministry provides another powerful example of communication extending beyond someone's physical presence. Paul wrote letters to Christian communities dealing with doctrine, disputes, encouragement, correction, suffering, church order, Christian living, and many other matters. His letters could travel even when he could not personally stand before every congregation. His physical location did not necessarily determine how far his words could reach.
