When the Present and Future Meet

Present pain can make God's promised future feel distant and unreal. Romans 8 places that pain inside creation's groaning wait for renewal, when creation will escape decay and God's children will receive redeemed bodies. Jesus died for sinners, and those who trust Him are adopted by God, so present suffering cannot compare with the glory ahead.
