When The Reservoir Gets Low - 07/19/26
from Freedom Church DC Hosted by Freedom Church DC
What happens when the reservoir gets low? In John 7:37–39, Jesus promises that anyone who thirsts can come to Him and drink—and that rivers of living water will flow from within them. In this message, Pastor Jerry West examines the difference between living from a present relationship with God and attempting to survive on spiritual experiences stored from the past. Drawing from Ezekiel 47:9, Psalm 1:1–3, Jeremiah 17:7–8, and John 6:63, this sermon shows that life, fruitfulness, strength, and renewal are found by remaining connected to the life-giving flow of God’s Spirit. Yesterday’s encounter cannot replace today’s relationship. When joy, peace, strength, or passion begin to run low, the answer is not simply finding a larger reservoir—it is returning to the river. Discover how staying connected to the Holy Spirit enables us to remain fruitful even through seasons of pressure, heat, and drought.
