When the Word Becomes Heard
from Moments with God Hosted by FaithHope.Love
😔 You know all the words. That is what makes it worse. Grace. Mercy. The blood. The cross. With you always. You can say every one of them in a parking lot and mean it — and you have not heard God in any of them for longer than you want to admit out loud. You have started to wonder whether there is Anybody inside the language. 💔 Nobody warns you that you can lose a verse by keeping it. 🔥 Two men walked seven miles the wrong direction with the risen Christ opening the Scriptures to them. Men who had it memorized. They did not recognize Him — and something started burning in them before either one could name it. This episode is about the distance between having a word and hearing one. Why Paul puts hearing in front of faith and not study 📖. What the writer of Hebrews meant when he told a room full of believers they had gone dull of hearing. And why God has never once been far enough away to need to shout. 🕊️ He does not speak to you from across the room. He speaks in you. 💛 🎧 Press play. Then go read the one verse you stopped reading — and send this to the one person you know who has all the language and has gone quiet. 🕊️ Remember, God loves you, and so do we! ❤️🔥 Important Notice: If a Bible study was offered with an episode on any of our shows, please include in the Subject line: [name of podcast & name of episode], then the word 'study guide'.
