When the Wrong People Win | Proverbs 23:17
from Mighty Oaks Daily Devotional Hosted by Mighty Oaks Foundation
Why does it seem like people who cut corners, or outright sin, still get ahead? In this episode of Mighty Oaks Daily Devotional, Jeremy Stalnecker wrestles with a hard truth from Proverbs 23:17: “Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the Lord all the day long.” It’s easy to get frustrated watching others succeed through dishonesty, while you're doing things the right way and struggling. But Scripture tells us to stop looking at them, and start living to please God. Success isn’t about comparison, it’s about obedience.
